Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig: A Secretive Hollywood Love Story.

Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig, who first met in college in 1994, tied the knot in a secret ceremony in New York in 2011. The wedding was attended by only four people, including Rachel’s son Henry with her former partner Darren Aronofsky and Daniel’s daughter Ella from his previous marriage to actress Fiona Loudon.

Although Daniel briefly described married life as “great” in 2011, the couple has remained tight-lipped about their relationship. Rachel explained to More magazine why they keep their romance under wraps, saying, “He’s just too famous. It would be a betrayal. You have to protect your marriage.”

Previously engaged to producer Darren, Rachel never envisioned herself walking down the aisle. “I never thought I would get married,” she told the Evening Standard. “It was not an ambition of mine. It was the opposite. I couldn’t relate to romantic comedies – marriage seems to be their whole point. Then it just happened, happily, at a more mature moment.”

Rachel and Daniel, who worked together on the film “Dream House,” welcomed a daughter in 2018. They prefer to keep their family life out of the spotlight. In a rare comment about their marriage, Rachel said, “You make it your own. It’s very personal; it’s very private. I don’t think mine’s particularly exceptional apart from that we’re both in the public eye.”

“When you’re young, you tell your girlfriends everything,” Rachel told More magazine, “One of the great pleasures of not being an adolescent is that you don’t have to share everything. When you’re married, that door closes. The audience goes, and you’re in your own life.” The couple, who starred together in the film “The Mummy,” has maintained a strong relationship, with Daniel briefly commenting in 2011, “It’s just really good, and I’m just really happy.”
