The couple, who got married in November 2017, already has a 5-year-old daughter named Olympia. Williams took to Instagram on Monday to announce her pregnancy, sharing photos with her husband.

In one picture, Williams is seen cradling her baby bump, while the couple can be seen smiling alongside each other in another.

The caption accompanying the post read: “Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala,” followed by details about her outfit, hair, and makeup for the event.

Last year, Williams wrote an essay for Vogue in which she talked about her desire to expand her family and her decision to move away from tennis.

She admitted that she had never thought about having kids before, but now she’s a proud mother to Olympia and eagerly awaits her second child’s arrival.

Williams has always been hands-on when raising her daughter, and she’s also determined to continue that trend with her second child.

She admitted that she was not very confident around babies or children when she first began her career, but now she’s an expert at juggling motherhood and her tennis career.

The tennis champion’s first pregnancy was not an easy one. First, she had to undergo an emergency C-section and then developed blood clots, which could have been life-threatening.

Then, after her daughter was born, Williams had to spend six weeks in bed recovering from her surgery while adjusting to motherhood.

Despite the challenges, Williams has found immense joy in her family life. She’s grateful for her husband and daughter and believes they have given her a new perspective on life.

Williams no longer defines herself solely by her career, and she’s excited to see what the future holds for her family.

As Williams once said, “A champion isn’t defined on how many wins they have, but how they recover when they fall.” We do not doubt that Williams will continue to be a champion both on and off the court, and we wish her and her family all the happiness in the world!
