Simone Biles, the Team USA gymnast, and her NFL star partner, Jonathan Owens, have finally exchanged wedding vows after being engaged for over a year. The wedding ceremony took place earlier today in Houston, Texas, and the couple made the announcement on Instagram by sharing photos of their big day on their respective accounts.

Biles posted a picture on Instagram with the caption, “I do 🤍 officially owens 🤍,” while Owens commented, “Wifey got a great ring to it ❤️💍 First day of forever 🤞🏽.” The stunning photos were captured by Rachel Taylor, a Houston-based photographer.

For her big day, Biles wore an elegant four-tiered wedding dress, featuring a plunging halter neckline and an open back with crossing straps tied at the waist. She accessorized the gown with diamond stud earrings, a matching pendant necklace, and white, strappy open-toed heels. Bespoke floral designer Maggie Bailey designed her bouquet.

The gymnast had her hair styled in a curled ponytail and chose to keep her makeup simple and radiant. Owens, on the other hand, wore a light taupe suit, white button-up shirt, a black checkered belt, and white loafers with silver embellishments.

Biles and Owens officially confirmed their relationship in August 2020 through a selfie on Instagram with the caption “It’s just us 🤎”. Since then, they have shared sweet vacation pictures, holiday tributes, and matching outfits on social media.

Owens proposed to Biles on Valentine’s Day in 2022, and she announced the engagement with a series of photos of the romantic gazebo proposal on her Instagram account.
