A concertgoer filed a class-action lawsuit against Wallen the next day, claiming that the singer had breached his contract and was negligent in canceling the show.

However, on Tuesday, the case was withdrawn in federal court, with attorney Casey Lott stating that it will be refiled with a new plaintiff in the coming days.

The plaintiff alleged that Wallen had broken his refund terms and that concertgoers were entitled to refunds of all out-of-pocket expenses incurred with the canceled performance, including transportation, lodging, food, merchandise sales, transaction fees, and other costs.

The complaint also claimed that Wallen had assumed a duty to exercise due and reasonable care for the financial property interests of his patrons and ensure that foreseeable cancellations were announced promptly.

Finally, the plaintiff sought monetary damages and additional relief for the mental anguish caused by Wallen’s “willful, reckless, and intentional conduct” at the show. Wallen’s representatives have declined to comment on the matter.

In a statement on his Instagram Story, Wallen explained that he had started losing his voice after his Saturday performance and spent the following day resting, talking to his doctor, and doing vocal exercises in an attempt to improve. However, he could not sing on Sunday and regretted canceling the show.
