Meghan Trainor Apologizes for Comments about Teachers on Podcast
Singer Meghan Trainor has issued an apology for her recent comments about teachers, admitting that she should have been more careful with her words. The controversy arose after Trainor and her husband Daryl Sabara discussed mass shootings and bullying on their “Workin’ On It” podcast with Trisha Paytas.
During the conversation, Trainor said, “F**k teachers, dude,” which she now claims was an impulsive response to the horrors of sending kids to school in America.
However, in a recent video shared on TikTok, Trainor clarified that she did not mean to insult all teachers, explaining that she and her husband were bullied by teachers in the past.
She went on to praise teachers for having the most underpaid and unappreciated job, adding that they literally raise all of us. She concluded by saying sorry to any teachers who may have been hurt by her words and pledged to be more cautious in the future.
Trainor and Sabara, who are parents to a two-year-old son and are expecting their second child, are known for their candid conversations on their podcast.
