Meghan Markle Signs With Talent Agency William Morris Endeavor for Business Ventures
Meghan Markle business ventures has taken another step towards expanding her post-royal career by signing with talent agency William Morris Endeavor (WME).
WME shared on social media that “The agency will focus on building her business ventures across multiple facets of the agency and its broader ecosystem, including film and television production, brand partnerships, and more.
” WME will represent Meghan along with Ari Emanuel, Brad Slater, and Jill Smoller. The agency will also describe her and Prince Harry’s content creation label under their company Archewell.
A Variety report indicated that acting will not be a part of their focus, instead exploring film and television production, brand partnerships, and overall business-building.
Archewell, the organization launched by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, includes a non-profit organization named the Archewell Foundation. It aims to “unleash the power of compassion to drive systemic cultural change.”
Since stepping back from royal life in January 2020, Meghan has continued her work with animal welfare charities Mayhew and Smart Works Charity. The Smart Works Charity provides women with professional attire for career opportunities.
On the other hand, Prince Harry was a patron of WellChild, Sentebale, and the Invictus Games Foundation. The couple has also embarked on a “multi-year partnership” between Spotify and their production company Archewell Audio, which helped develop Meghan’s Archetypes podcast.
In December, the royal couple released a Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, with the biggest documentary debut week in the streaming service’s history.
