Mark Wahlberg’s Bold Move to Las Vegas: Giving His Kids a Thriving Life
Mark Wahlberg recently revealed that he and his family love their life in Las Vegas. Six months ago, Wahlberg announced that his family left Los Angeles to prioritize their children’s needs.
In an interview with E! News, the 51-year-old actor shared that his four children – Grace, 13. Ella, 19, Brendan, 14, and Michael, 17 – are thriving in Nevada. “They love Vegas,” Wahlberg said. “It’s time for them to pursue their interests and dreams.”
Apart from providing their children a better life, the move also had some entertainment for the family to enjoy together. Wahlberg shared that he has seen several shows and has visited many excellent restaurants, including Adele’s and Bruno Mars’s concerts as part of Silk Sonic. He said, “There’s so much to do in Vegas, and it’s so exciting.”
Wahlberg revealed in an interview with The Talk last October that his whole family “moved to Nevada where, after this gubernatorial election, hopefully, we go to legislation and get a bill passed so we can get tax credits for the state, build a state-of-the-art studio here and make this Hollywood 2.0.” He wants to work from home, adding that he is at home “every free moment.”
As for the recent family milestones, Wahlberg and his wife, Rhea Durham, gifted their 17-year-old son, Michael, his first car, an all-black Ford Bronco. Grace, Wahlberg’s daughter, recently modeled clothes from his Municipal line and promoted his Performance Inspired protein powder. The actor shared the hilarious video on Instagram.
The family previously dropped off their eldest child, Ella, at Clemson University in South Carolina last January. Durham shared her emotions toward the family milestone on Instagram, writing, “The emotions are running wild.”
