Former Jackass Star Bam Margera Wanted by Pennsylvania State Police After Alleged Physical Altercation
Former Jackass star Bam Margera is once again facing legal trouble. The Pennsylvania State Police are searching for the 43-year-old after allegedly engaging in a physical altercation, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
State troopers arrived in Pocopson Township on Sunday after reports of a disturbance, claiming that Margera was involved in a physical confrontation where the victim suffered minor injuries. Margera fled into “a wooded area” before the authorities arrived, and he has yet to be located.
Margera faces serious charges, including one count of simple assault, one count of harassment, and four counts of terroristic threats “to terrorize another.” This isn’t the first time Margera has found himself on the wrong side of the law; he was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in San Diego in March and again for public intoxication in Burbank, California, later that same month.
Last year, Margera sued his former Jackass co-stars for firing him from the production of Jackass Forever. However, he later dropped the lawsuit after reaching a private settlement. Margera has had a history of addiction and substance abuse, which he has struggled with for years.
Margera’s representatives have yet to respond to EW’s request for comment on the recent incident. The former MTV star’s legal troubles continue to mount, and it remains to be seen what consequences he will face if found guilty of the charges against him.
