Actress Lea Michele has shared an update on her son Ever’s health
Actress Lea Michele has shared an update on her son Ever’s health after he was hospitalized in March due to a “scary health issue.” Speaking at the Time 100 Gala in New York City, Michele revealed that her 2-year-old son is “doing well,” but there is still “a long road ahead” for him.
In addition, she expressed her gratitude for the support she has received from her castmates in the Broadway musical Funny Girl, in which she plays Fanny Brice, as well as from her family and husband of four years, Zandy Reich.
Michele, who wore Mugler’s vintage blue satin gown to the event, revealed that Reich has been “wonderful” during this challenging time. She also shared an Instagram story of herself embracing Ever, stating that “these hard times show you truly what matters and is important in life and how much we have to be grateful for.”
Although Michele has not disclosed the specifics of her son’s health complication, it has been tough and “hard, to say the least.” Ever was hospitalized again in April, just weeks after his initial hospitalization.
Despite this, Michele remained optimistic about his recovery and commended him as “such a champ.”
Her son’s health scare necessitated Michele’s absence from Funny Girl, but she is set to star in the acclaimed Broadway revival until September. While the road ahead may be long, Michele and her family remain hopeful and grateful for their support.
