Cogie Domingo Update: Was Arrested In Drug Operation

Cogie Domingo’s life took a dark turn in 2017 when he was detained for illegal drug possession. On October 27th of that year, officials from the PDEA-Region IV-A Intelligence Section and the Laguna Provincial Office apprehended Domingo and two others, Almira Bautista and Francisco Lim, in BF Homes, Paranaque City.

During the arrest, Domingo was found carrying a black hard plastic case containing a sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) and other drug paraphernalia. Meanwhile, Bautista and Lim were caught in possession of two sachets of suspected illegal drugs.

The authorities also seized Domingo’s white Lexus CT and Lim’s Toyota Fortuner, along with the other drug paraphernalia found in their possession.

While Domingo was granted bail three days later, he remained imprisoned until November of the same year. The incident caused a stir in the entertainment industry and among his fans, with many expressing their disappointment and concern for the actor.
